As a pediatrician, I see my role as teaming up with children and families to help promote healthy and happy lives.
It is important to me to understand what matters most to your child and family. By listening to your concerns and inviting questions, I can guide discussions to help your family make informed decisions about your child’s healthcare. I try to include children and adolescents in discussions as much as possible when it is developmentally appropriate. This helps them to learn about their bodies prepare for the future.
For me, some of the most important visits are routinely scheduled Well-Child Care visits. Preventing illness with vaccines, discussing expected changes tied to developing skills, and supporting healthy habits all play an important role in the health of the whole child. These visits also let us build a relationship and address any questions that you have.
Being there to support families and children brings me joy - to both celebrate successes and to be there when challenges arise. I want to be a trusted person whom patients can come to for advice about any health topic. I have a special interest in early childhood development and managing chronic conditions in children and adolescents.
