JACQUELYN BUSSE, MD

I love taking care of children and their families and am honored to be a part of my patients' lives. I believe that preventive medicine is the cornerstone of pediatric care and I am passionate about two of the most important aspects of preventive care: nutrition and vaccination. Specifically, I strongly endorse a whole-foods, plant-based lifestyle. I believe in a collaborative approach to patient care, working with families in the context of their community to help kids stay healthy and reach their potential.

Dr. Busse is the Santa Cruz pediatric EPIC Superuser and a member of the Sutter Perinatal Improvement Committee. She regularly participates in local school career days and panel discussions and speaks on Whole-Food, Plant-Based nutrition throughout the community.

Dr. Busse enjoys biking, hiking, reading, cooking, yoga and spending time with her husband, two young kids and their golden retriever. She regularly travels back to Wisconsin to visit family.
