Because parents know their children better than the doctor, their insights are just as important as what I see when I examine their child. Working together to provide the best care for children is very important to me. Often times there are no easy answers, but together we can work to ensure that we provide children with the best start in life. Being a pediatrician is not just about the well child checks but also making sure the family is supported. It takes a team to make sure the child is where he or she needs to be to grow up healthy and happy.

Dr. Copeland enjoys reading, walking along the beach (her happy place), and doing yoga and Pilates in her free time. She also has two little dogs who keep her company.
